Concealed Carry Renewal — $275 The price includes: Four hours of instructor-led renewal instruction D.C. and federal firearm-law updates Self-defense and use-of-force review Prohibited locations and transportation requirements Firearm safety and safe-storage review Conflict avoidance and de-escalation At least two hours of supervised range training Required 50-round live-fire qualification 50 rounds of standard 9mm ammunition Two qualification targets Range admission and lane fees MPD renewal-training certificate Basic renewal-application guidance Optional handgun rental Alpha Defense handgun, ear & eye protection: $25 Students may bring a safe, serviceable handgun. Personally owned firearms and ammunition are subject to instructor and range inspection. Different or additional ammunition is charged separately.

Cancellation Policy
D.C. CONCEALED CARRY RENEWAL BOOKING POLICY BOOKING AND PAYMENT Registration opens 90 days before the course and closes 48 hours before class. Full payment of $275 is required. Registrations are nontransferable. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations received at least 48 hours before class are eligible for a $200 refund. A $75 administrative fee will be deducted. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before class are nonrefundable. The full $275 payment will be forfeited because classroom space, range time, ammunition and targets have been reserved. RESCHEDULING One rescheduling request is permitted without charge when requested at least 48 hours before class. The replacement course must be completed within 90 days and is subject to availability. A second rescheduling request requires a $75 fee. Requests received less than 48 hours before class require a new registration and payment. ATTENDANCE AND NO-SHOWS Students must complete all required classroom instruction, range training and live-fire qualification. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted. Failure to attend or complete any required portion will result in forfeiture of the full payment. A new registration and payment will be required. No additional no-show fee will be charged. STUDENT REQUIREMENTS Students must present valid government-issued photo identification and their current D.C. Concealed Carry Pistol License. Students must follow all instructor and range safety rules. Personally owned firearms must be transported lawfully and are subject to instructor and range inspection. Unsafe conduct, failure to follow instructions or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the course without a refund. COURSE COMPLETION Renewal documents are issued only after all classroom, range and qualification requirements are completed. Course completion does not guarantee license renewal. The Metropolitan Police Department determines applicant eligibility and approval. COURSE CHANGES Alpha Defense may cancel or reschedule a course because of insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, range availability, severe weather or circumstances beyond its control. If Alpha Defense cancels, students may transfer to another available renewal course without charge or receive a full refund.
