Service Description
Complete the Maryland State Police-approved 16-hour firearms safety training required for eligible original Wear & Carry Permit applicants. Classroom instruction is conducted live through real-time, two-way audio and video. Prerecorded instruction does not qualify. Students must complete the required hands-on training and live-fire qualification in person. The qualification includes a minimum of 25 rounds fired at no more than 15 yards, with a minimum score of 70% required to pass. Hybrid training is not 100% online. Training is provided by a Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor.
