Service Description
Complete the required eight-hour Maryland Wear & Carry Permit renewal training. This in-person course reviews Maryland firearm laws, responsible carry, prohibited locations, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, use of force, conflict avoidance, safe handling, and shooting fundamentals. Students must complete the live-fire requalification by firing a minimum of 25 rounds at no more than 15 yards and achieving a minimum score of 70%. Students receive a completed MSP 29-14 Certified Qualification Score Sheet after successful completion. Training is provided by a Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor.
