Service Description
Our Utah Concealed Firearm Permit course provides approximately four hours of in-person classroom instruction taught by a Utah BCI-certified instructor. Training covers Utah firearm laws, firearm safety, safe loading and unloading, concealed-carry methods, use of force, and suicide prevention. No live-fire qualification is required. Upon successful completion, students receive the instructor certification needed to submit their Utah permit application.

Cancellation Policy
UTAH CFP BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY BOOKING AND PAYMENT Registration opens 90 days before class and closes 48 hours before class. Full payment of $125 is required when booking. Registrations are nontransferable. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations received at least 48 hours before class are eligible for a $100 refund. A $25 administrative fee will be deducted. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before class are nonrefundable, and the full $125 payment will be forfeited. RESCHEDULING One rescheduling request is permitted without charge when requested at least 48 hours before class. The new class must be completed within 90 days of the original date and is subject to availability. A second rescheduling request requires a $25 fee. Requests made less than 48 hours before class require a new registration and payment. NO-SHOWS AND LATE ARRIVALS Students who do not attend will forfeit the full course payment. No additional no-show fee will be charged. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted and will be considered no-shows. A new registration and payment will be required. STUDENT REQUIREMENTS Students must present valid government-issued photo identification, attend the entire course, complete all required exercises and follow all instructor directions and safety rules. Recording, photographing or distributing course content is prohibited. This is an in-person classroom course. Live-fire training is not required. Alpha Defense provides inert training firearms for required handling exercises. Firearms and ammunition may not be brought into the classroom unless authorized in advance by the instructor. COURSE COMPLETION Students who successfully complete the course will receive the instructor certification required for their Utah permit application. Completion does not guarantee permit issuance. The Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification determines applicant eligibility and permit approval. COURSE CHANGES Alpha Defense may cancel or reschedule a course because of insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, severe weather or circumstances beyond its control. If Alpha Defense cancels the course, students may transfer to another available Utah course without charge or receive a full refund.
